Its no secret around my house that I really like the BP Concealed Carry series of pistols from Bersa. Frankly, I find them to be very close to being the gun I’ve dreamed about since the mid-90’s: a single-stack Glock 19. The first time I handled a BP9CC, I fell in love with the way it fit my hand.
Workplace violence, terrorist attacks and gang members looking for the thrill of a kill have made the concealed carry of firearms all the more popular with citizens across these United States. Finding the right balance of power, reliability, concealability and cost is a very individual choice. Engineers from all of the major gun companies have designed a multitude of options, offering consumers a range of good quality products from which to choose. The Bersa BP40CC is one of those handguns that may make sense for a lot of people.
Bersa is set to release the new BP40CC pistol soon. The single stack pistol is listed on the company website here.
The BP40CC is a single stack pistol chambered in .40 S&W. It uses a polymer frame and is striker fired. The BP40CC was originally announced when the BP9CC, a 9mm version of the gun, was announced in late 2009. However, the .40 S&W never made it to the market, and some thought the gun would never see production.
